SydneySide have been furnishing offices and homes around Australia for over 30 years, we are 100% privately owned Australian business with 5 showrooms in Sydney. Our locations are Alexandria, Caringbah, Castle Hill and Crows Nest.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for experienced sales consultants open to new challenges to be part of a dynamic, hardworking, customer focused team. Furniture retail experience preferred but not essential, we are looking for people who can offer solutions to customers home furnishing needs. Applicant must be able to work weekends.
We are offering a competitive industry wage based on experience.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
- Have at least 2 – 3 years’ experience selling in a retail environment
- Great natural personal qualities and people communication skills
- Liaise with customers to ensure an exceptional showroom experience.
- Dealing with sales enquiries of customers, face-to-face and over the phone.
- Interior decoration, colour co-ordination courses preferable but not essential
- Must have a creative spark/interest/curiosity
- Good organisational skills
- Meet sales targets
- Be able to work as a team member
- Must have a legal right to work in Australia
